2015 'Month of Love' at Willows Lodge in Woodinville Wine Country

Chef Bobby Moore and his culinary team will host a special “Cooking with Your Sweetheart” event and cooking class in Fireside at Willows Lodge on Wednesday, February 11th, showcasing dishes that are fun to prepare and enjoy as a couple.

Chef Moore will demo the creation of beet pasta dough, ultimately making Red Beet Agnolotti with Herbed Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Filling, served with a Brown Butter Balsamic Sauce with Toasted Hazelnuts. Pastry Chef Matt Kelley will prep a delightful chocolate parfait: Dark Chocolate Mousse, Port Macerated Raspberries, White Chocolate Whipped Ganache, while Barking Frog’s dynamic wine director Tony Berkau pairs appropriate cocktails and wines with each dish.

As always, cooking classes are complimentary, open to the public and begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. Given that classes are quite popular and there is limited seating, guests are encouraged to arrive early. For more information, please visit www.willowslodge.com.

In addition to its regular menu, Barking Frog restaurant will feature a special Aphrodisiac Menu for the week leading up to Valentine’s Day (similar to the attached), as well as offer the following Month of Love Lunch Tasting Menu for those who don’t like venture out on Valentine’s Day night, but still want to enjoy a bit of romance (and more cost-conscious pricing):

While the newly renovated Fireside at Willows Lodge will serve a Chocolate Gateau and Champagne for Two special for the entire month of February. Pricing $14.

The Spa at Willows Lodge

In addition to offering in-room couples massages, the Spa will launch in February the 2.5-hour Exotic Couple's Package, which starts with a relaxing Foot Ritual for two, followed by the spa’s newest body treatment: The Moor Mud Wrap, utilizing authentic Moor Mud, harvested near one of the only two spa lakes in the world and used to heal, soothe, and rejuvenate tired muscles and dull skin. Then, the couple will each enjoy a 60-minute Lomi-Lomi Massage and toast with a glass of champagne. The cost for this package is $560, including gratuity.
