1. Minimalistic Signage with Big Impacts

Both minimalist and maximalist style seem to find their niches in this season's style trends, but one of the places where minimalism shines is in signage. It's a clean and crisp approach that infuses details with sophistication and simple elegance. This gorgeous styled shoot in Phoenix, Arizona featured signage crafted by Aster & Palm, a unique blend of whimsical modernity and tradition. From table signs to menus and invitations, this design explored the formality of black and white with unique shapes and curvatures interwoven; it has a level of timelessness that pairs well with the hints of fun and more fluid design details. 2. Contemporary Coquette Aesthetic

If you're searching for wedding inspiration on social media, this is one of the ambiences that is mega trending. It's a sweet and romantic blend of femininity shown through lacy details and chic bows. Bows have been making their way into the wedding scene for some time, but continue to find their stride appearing in gowns, accessories and décor. A whimsical flounce is at the core of this trend, showing up majorly in Gen Z weddings. This cake crafted by Amour de Sucre accented a one-tiered confection lined in classic piping with delicate black ribbon bows, perched atop of a Chanel book for maximum style. Smaller cakes are making appearances in many 2024 weddings thus far, giving our bride and groom and iconic moment while still allowing for more convenient dessert options for guests.

3. Modern Pastels

It's not that shocking that pastels have come back into style given their timeless aura and feminine appeal, but their classic romance remains as alluring as ever. As we move into 2024, we're seeing couples interpret pastels in new ways that bring an essence of modernity to tried and true colors. Riley and Jenna's wedding the Junipero Serra Museum in San Diego, California brought a springtime style to a fall date with a floral ombré of pastels. To tie the entire vibe together, film pics by Rachael Polack added just a hint of vintage. This was a more maximalist approach to color that fits into the contemporary wedding scene with ease and expertly crafted by Mai Floral Design. As florals bloom and we officially transition to the spring season now is an optimal time to play with pastels. See more of Riley and Jenna's wedding here

4. Get Your Shades On

Springtime offers the chance to take advantage of pristine golden hours and alfresco venues, which means there is no better time to rock some shades. It's a small detail that can change an entire look and bring an individualized flair to wedding style, and can easily be taken on and off and swapped out if wanted. The Neagles explored the Palladian Hotel for chic bridal portraits and opted to add some sleek heart-shaped shades to their pics for an extra infusion of glam. Sunglasses remain iconic as we move into this spring season, and bonus points for couples who rock them inside with a flash photography moment.

5. Drinks as Décor

In a world where edible flowers exist and curated cocktails are truly works of art on their own, it's a delightful addition to wedding décor to choose drinks that not only taste good but fit into the day's ambience. With nature in full bloom, spring is a great time to pay homage to floral beauty, as done with these creations by Sundried Tomato Bistro which stood out at a lovely styled shoot planned by Taylor and Mikala with Monge Amore Events. There are also endless creative ways to use drinks, for example to frame seating charts with champagne or have them accenting a welcome table.

6. Timeless Black-Tie

Sleek and simple truly never gets old, but modern couples are finding ways to embrace a black and white palette with modern details. As we enter the warmer months of the year where flora is in bloom, sometimes opting for a refined palette that keeps things simple allows the natural ambience to shine through. For Emily and Devon's nuptials at the Minneapolis Institute of Art in Minnesota, the duo adorned their bridal party in classic black-tie and focused florals were monochromatic bursts of red. Keeping your bridal party in all black is a classy wedding move, and we're even seeing modern couples dress their bridesmaids and/or groomsmen in varying hues of white and ivory. See all the details from Emily and Devon's wedding day here

7. Sign Off Your Way

LED signs and different ways to showcase your new married relationship have been huge in the last ten years, and they still maintain a definite fun appeal as a décor piece for your sweetheart table or photo-op for guests. Couples are moving into new realms that explore the possibility of signage and technology - there are so many options and ways to make things personal and special beyond signs that says "Mr. & Mrs." Frankie and JJ decked out their reception at Coopers Hall in Portland, Oregon with a classic board lit-up reading "FRANKIE & JJ MARRIED AF." It's a fun interpretation that brings some personal style into the mix while keeping your name (literally) in lights.
