Best Event Design - Events By Genevieve & Busara Flora (@eventsbygenevieve) (@busara.flora)

An air of polished elegance blends with a Pacific Northwest palette of greens to define this lovely design by Events by Genevieve and Busara Flora at JM Cellars. Classic, clean lines are reflected in the bridal gown, cake and stationery, contrasting beautifully with light and airy florals arranged with a focus on texture and foliage. Busara Flora created an unconventional ceremony design with the couple ensconced in an organized, overgrown garden of blooming branches, fritillaria, orchids and delphinium. The bouquet is timeless with subtle tendrils of greenery cascading from a gathering of tulips, ranunculus and a smattering of lily of the valley.

Best Real Wedding - Sesira & Will

Sesira and Will’s epic wedding celebrated the joining of their lives with a double ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. First, they honored Sesira’s Indian heritage by tying the knot in a traditional wedding sari and sherwani beneath a stunning acrylic mandap covered in a fragrant blend of wisteria, garden roses, ranunculus, lisianthus and orchids. The couple then did a dress change for their Western ceremony, with the bride in an off-the-shoulder gown, and the groom in
a classic tux. The mandap also served as an equally stunning frame for the couple’s sweetheart table at the reception. Every detail was on point, from the water-colored invitation suites to the iridescent bridesmaids’ gowns to the delicate floral cake.

Refined whimsy is realized in this beautiful mauve pink confection. The design features a floral bas relief inspired by the venue’s molding and fine Wedgwood porcelain pottery. Best Style - Bao-Tram Do of Emerald City Flowers (@emeraldcityflowers)

Fashion and fine art were the hallmarks of Bao-Tram
Do’s (“BT”) wedding to Tuan Duong. The florist and owner of Seattle’s Emerald City Flowers, BT made a chic statement in a fitted Berta mermaid gown that had handsewn beading and was cinched with a velvet bow. At the reception, BT changed into a custom ivory Vietnamese áo dài from Thai Nguyen Atelier. The stylish ivory pleated tulle outfit was embellished with hand-embroidered, beaded floral lace, a fitting adornment that reflected BT’s love of flowers. The chic outfit included a detachable train, silk charmeuse pants and a khăn đóng (headdress).
