Stephanie Bird and Connor Lamoureux endeavored to shape and mold their wedding as carefully and intentionally as they had crafted their relationship. Under a seemingly never-ending blue July sky, the pair were married on the island where her father grew up, at the charming Tudor-style Manor House at Pleasant Beach Village. Taking her inspiration from the venue’s vintage grace, Stephanie wore a simple silk gown with a low back, paired with an airy double-tiered veil. In their dresses of pale pastels, the bridesmaids complemented the bride’s attire and bore bouquets of white calla lilies to echo her white ranunculus bouquet. Following a ceremony rich with white petals, the happy hour proved lively as a mariachi band, clad in shades of ivory, performed. The band, chosen to honor the bride’s heritage, serenaded guests as they sipped spicy margaritas and martinis of both the dirty and espresso variety. Connor’s name was on display, scripted on white linen as “Amor Lamoureux”—amoureux is French for “in love.” However, the most special feature for the happy couple was simply seeing their names displayed on a local theater marquee. Their names up in lights symbolized their shared passions and their palpable love.
