When Stephanie and Andrew met at a rooftop rosé party one summer evening, little did they know it was the beginning of their forever. The pair wed during a warm and welcoming celebration at Woodinville’s JM Cellars, where towering trees and lush foliage offered the ideal Pacific Northwest backdrop to their ceremony.
Upon arrival, friends and family received a chilled splash of rosé—a sweet nod to the couple’s first encounter—then took their seats as Stephanie and Andrew exchanged heartfelt vows beneath a wooden pergola. Ethereal white and blush floral arrangements sat atop clear acrylic pedestals, lending a floating effect and helping to preserve views of the surrounding landscape. During the ceremony, the couple’s two dogs made a surprise appearance; the pups, decked out in their fanciest attire, raced down the aisle to deliver the wedding rings.
Now husband and wife, the evening transitioned to an elegant candlelit dinner, in which monochromatic tablescapes were accented with modern ceramic vases filled with lilies (Andrew’s late mother’s favorite), roses and orchids. Each table was named for one of the couple’s beloved Seattle haunts (e.g. Elliott Bay Book Company, Volunteer Park), complete with signage featuring a custom line-art icon.
Later, another surprise was in store: late-night pizza delivery from Alexandras, with a shuttle service to the after-party, hosted at their favorite karaoke spot, Rock Box. —Lauren Mang
