Jane and Abner met at a local restaurant, where Abner was eager to chat since he had just moved to Seattle and was exploring his new neighborhood. Jane was initially less than eager, but after running into each other several times, something just clicked. Their love quickly blossomed, and they spent their time enjoying concerts, competitive dart nights, traveling and outdoor adventures. A few years later, the couple began to plan their wedding.
“Our biggest inspiration was gratitude,” they said. “We wanted to create an experience that honored the family and friends who supported us, guided us and ultimately helped bring us together.”

The tent’s entrance was draped with rich green velvet to keep the ceremony space hidden and entice guests to step inside. What awaited was a magical, floral-filled experience, including an aisle lined with dramatic blooms that led the eye to a grand floral arch where they would exchange their vows.
Playful, unexpected edible elements such as kiwi berries, ginger, grapes, peppers and pomegranate, along with seasonal greenery brought an artistic flair to the arrangements and tablescapes. While guests reveled in the event’s creativity, they also enjoyed a few of the bride and groom’s personal favorites, including bottles of Jane’s favorite hot sauces and a late-night snack bar featuring their comfort food of choice, Korean instant noodles.
