The Silver Renaissance Inspires Regal, Glitzy Wedding Design

After living in the shadow of gold and its sister metal, rose gold, silver is having a renaissance. Doreen Fitzpatrick of Sassyfly Luxury Events took her clients’ wish for sparkle and went above and beyond for this royal-inspired wedding. “Silver does not get used often,” notes Fitzpatrick, “even though it beautifully complements all other colors.” The Sassyfly team brought all that shimmers to the design, such as glass pillar candlesticks, mirrored vases, and polished silver goblets, dishes and flatware. To accompany the shining pieces, Fitzpatrick chose grand floral arrangements of hydrangeas, orchids, roses and baby’s breath in crisp white, while majestic tree centerpieces brought the wow factor to the luxurious event.
