In a powerful display of love, Cyrrene Sharples and Max Perry braved a blizzard to say “I do” in Mount Rainier National Park. As true nature lovers, the couple wanted to embrace the elements of the Pacific Northwest and marry on the mountain where Cyrrene grew up. “Nature has always been central to how we spend our free time and how we harmonize with the world and within our relationship. So we knew we wanted to get married in nature,” Cyrrene said. In a secluded spot within one of Mount Rainier’s lush evergreen forests, Cyrrene and Max exchanged vows privately prior to the formal ceremony. Then they returned to Copper Creek Inn to marry with their loved ones surrounding them and their close friends officiating. Contributions from those loved ones were deeply felt: Max’s sister, Jacqueline Perry, personally grew the gorgeous flowers that were used in the ceremony design; and the couple’s loyal dog, Mossy, served as ring bearer, proudly sporting a bespoke leather pouch attached to his collar. The reception kicked off with signature cocktails inspired by the bride, the groom and Mossy. As a parting gift, guests were given custom beanies featuring an illustration of Mount Rainier along with the date of Cyrrene’s and Max’s joyous union.
Nature lovers Cyrrene and Max transformed their wedding day into an outdoor adventure.
