Beautiful Wedding Day in the Barrel Room at Westland Distillery

Chrissy Elles and Ryan Kessler’s wedding day began with happy anticipation as close family gathered at a quaint Airbnb property in West Seattle. The couple, both transplants who have grown to love the Emerald City, took a stroll in Pioneer Square before the ceremony in recognition of their journey together. The wedding took place downtown in the contemporary yet rustic Westland Distillery. Surrounded by wooden barrels in a beautiful original wood-beamed cellar, the ceremony featured rustic florals that lined the aisle, while string lights accented with greenery hung overhead. Following their heartfelt nuptials, the newlyweds made a celebratory stop at Seapine Brewing Company for a beer before rejoining their guests for a cocktail hour featuring a whiskey tasting. The barrel room at Westland Distillery was seamlessly flipped for dinner, and guests took their seats for dinner at a long king’s table set for 50. A bespoke family-style dinner featured delicacies such as black cod and Beecher’s mac and cheese. The evening exuded the ambiance of a dinner party, with guests enjoying a tower of sparkling rosé, taking Polaroid photos and signing wine bottles for the couple to enjoy on future anniversaries. Chrissy changed into a second look for the reception, donning white trousers and a bejeweled crop top. The quintessential Seattle celebration created memories to last a lifetime for all.
