The Resort at The Mountain, a premier golf, spa and ski destination in the western highlands of Mt. Hood, is pleased to host a day of beer, food and blues at the 1st Annual Mt. Hood Blues & Brews festival on Saturday, September 4 from 12 to 8 p.m.
Some of Oregon’s regional breweries will fill pints for a day full of beer tasting at The Resort. Participating breweries include Fearless, Point Blank Distributing, Mt. Hood Brewery, Portland Brewing, Pyramid Brewery and Hood River Distillers. Brewmasters will also be on hand to make recommendations.
Attendees can pair their beers with dishes prepared by select restaurants including Altitude, El Burro, Rendezvous, Wraptitude and Sandy Brew Pub. A stage set up on the green will host live blues music starting at noon with performances by Gary Hobbs, Tim Olson and Jim Greeninger.
For guests who want to stay for the weekend, The Resort is offering the Mt. Hood Blues & Brews package for Saturday, September 4. The package includes discounted overnight reservations, 20 beverage sampler tokens, $20 in food tokens to be used at the event and a breakfast brunch for two the following morning. Pricing for the Mt. Hood Blues & Brews package starts at $139. Guests can arrive early or stay late with discounted rooms offered at $69 per night for Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday the week of the event.
