A little rain didn't stop Liv and Jake from hosting the beautiful bohemian wedding of their dreams. Rather than being disappointed when the tent went up at Alderbrook Resort that morning, the relaxed couple saw it as just another wedding day memory. The picture of a bohemian bride, Liv chose a perfectly messy side-braid and floral crown to accompany her stunning lace trumpet gown, while her bridesmaids wore coordinating crowns with flowing floral gowns (the type of dresses you'd definitely wear again). The typical Seattle drizzle certainly didn't take away from the personalized details that made the day, most of which the bride and groom made themselves. The result is a uniquely elegant wedding that feels more fun than fussy.
From Taylor'd Events:
"It ended up pouring rain just five minutes before the wedding ceremony, and it did not stop until dinner concluded… meaning the day was rearranged for the tented backup plan at Alderbrook Resort in Union, Washington. But rather than get disappointed, it actually was Liv and Jake’s favorite wedding day memory! The two bohemian lovebirds saw it as having an amazing outcome. With all of their guests hugging together to fit under the small tent, it felt like the biggest feeling of love squeezed in one space from the people who mattered the most to them.
From the Star Wars-themed flatware to the Brandi Carlisle soulful jams as the bride walked down the aisle, Liv and Jake felt like their day was packed full of personal details that represented them as individuals and as a couple. By making most of the DIY details themselves and being inspired by Etsy, they were able to truly make this a one-of-a-kind wedding day that was completely meant for them."
