Sunset hues and natural elements set the tone for Carlee and Scott’s bohemian-inspired celebration. Our wedding was a combination of elegance and eclectic touches,” reminisces the bride, Carlee Donnelly, also owner and lead designer of Rusted Vase Floral Co., who produced the décor and florals for the event. We combined sunset tones with a pop of blue to make our color palette stand out against traditional fall weddings. Hanging installations, peacock chairs, dried and fresh florals, candle light, and rugs made the backyard soiree feel inviting and warm. Due to Covid, the couple downsized their wedding by more than 150 guests, and their celebration was spent with immediate family, their bridal party and close friends. I think our wedding is a good example of what you can do with a smaller guest count and extra budget for details. It was intimate and so special,” says Donnelly. “Despite all of the crazy 2020 brought, our wedding day was magical, and we could not have asked for a better way to celebrate our love.
