With winter sneaking up right around the corner, we're gathering our winter wedding inspiration from this dusty blue styled shoot. This gorgeous shoot took place at Generations in Seattle and featured a delicate design, luscious florals and the sweetest puppy we've ever laid our eyes on.
From Alexandra Hamilton of Willow & Ivy Events:
"We often feel that styled shoots can sometimes be hard to picture when translating to a real wedding. Because of this, we decided to include a full ceremony set up, complete with guests and an officiant so brides and grooms to-be can really get a feel for what their whole wedding day would look like! The pair exchanged beautiful rings handmade by local artist Jennifer of Anueva Jewelry. We featured a maid of honor, a best man, and the cutest little puppy ring bearer you ever did see! He sported a greenery collar and really stole the show. He posed like he owned the place and was the sweetest addition to the day.
We really wanted to opt for unique handcrafted details. One of our favorites would have to be the mini cake placecards. Each one was handcrafted by Nancy of Saltadena and frosted in the most beautiful dusty blue watercolor design. They were then topped with marble "cake topper" place cards lettered by Baylie of Santa Fe Paper Co. Each one sat on the guests' plates atop a running dusty blue velvet table linen from Party Crush Studio. A matching larger cake was also featured and included climbing greenery which mimicked that of the ceremony floral pieces and handing installation over the dinner table, all done by Bonnie of Petal & Posy. Those weren't the only floral pieces either! Bonnie created dream bouquets and centerpieces full of amazing summer florals. You can spot the lush, blooming peonies, beautiful ranunculus and roses.
As if this wasn't enough, the dress alone is enough to blow you away. This two-piece dress crafted by Sweet Caroline features a full tulle skirt in a lovely soft blue shade. The skirt is paired with a long-sleeved lace bodysuit with a stunning keyhole back. It was perfect for the overall aesthetic of the day."
