Taylor and Dominic wed in an intimate backyard ceremony this past summer in Walla Walla that was a beautiful showcase of their genuine love and connection, paying homage to shared interests and their families in a stylish manner. The couple initially connected on Tinder, ironically enough they had both been living in the UK but had not encountered each other until Taylor moved home to the States amid the pandemic and kept her Tinder location overseas. Their love story continued to unfold over the next few years, culminating in a bright matrimonial fete at Taylor's childhood home that included an outing to a local record store.
Dominic made his way over from the United Kingdom to Taylor's childhood backyard for an unforgettable day of celebration and love. While his family was unable to attend in person, they were part of the day via FaceTime, and Taylor's family welcomed Dominic into their clan with open arms. The day's design was a vision of summer featuring florals by Brittany Brannock of Whoopem Up Hollow Farms that paired color and texture together evoking a regal garden party romance. Hues of coral, pink, yellow and blue were featured in a floral altar and Taylor's lush bouquet, where blooms were a particular ode to Washington's summer featuring roses, tulips and hydrangeas.
A bold use of color was prominent and brought a true natural splendor into the ambiance of the day, which was captured with heartwarming authenticity by Ren McKenzie Photography - so much so that you would never be able to tell it was over 90 degrees at points of the day. Taylor opted for a light blue BHLDN gown, an ethereal tiered dress complimented by coral shoes making for a spectacular and stylish display of personality. One of the home's natural décor highlights was the room Taylor got ready in, featuring an array of whimsical and colorful artwork. Dominic's look kept things refined with a casual edge featuring a deep green unbuttoned coat and pink boutonniere. Colored goblets and unique tablescapes were simplistic and cheery, and gold accents brought a hint of glam.
Taylor and Dominic's day was a true showcase of happiness, but they knew it wouldn't be complete without a stop at a local record shop. Details in the wedding paid homage to their love of music with a record serving as a guest book. Photo-ops galore awaited in the streets of Walla Walla and records galore set a romantic backdrop to celebrate a beloved outing for Taylor and Dominic. Perusing through aisles proved to be a delightful wedding-day addition as Christine McVie and Love Battery made appearances in some of the duo's selects. A slow dance amid aisles of vinyl and tapes gave our couple a true moment alone as newlyweds in a showcase of love. Their venture to explore Walla Walla was a unique addition that truly honored our couple on their big day with a moment for them to celebrate away from the wedding. Taylor and Dominic's take on a backyard wedding brought their personal style and flair to the day with a sincere and absolutely gorgeous showcase of love.
Their whole day was covered in so much love. It was beyond beautiful and an absolute delight to document.
