Enchantment meets the pinnacle of refinement in this romantic country wedding editorial photographed at Juliane Henry’s Equestrian School in Snoqualmie. The shoot was truly a vision: a dreamy meadow with sunbeams peeking through the clouds; white horses adorned with garlands; light, airy blooms everywhere; and a stunning stationery suite. Perhaps the editorial’s most standout features are the fashion and styling, which juxtaposes a dramatic corseted gown and cape with natural, near effortless hair and makeup. Explaining her approach to hair and makeup, Kayla Okpareke, owner of Kayla Kollection Artistry, says, “We wanted to focus on executing some 2023/2024 bridal beauty trend predictions: brushed-through tresses and less of the perfectly sculpted glam waves. So, we kept the hair natural and gave her some lived-in waves.” As for the makeup, she says, “The look was kept monochromatic while we played off the warmth of the bride’s natural skin tone, giving her a subtle, ethereal glow that she can feel her best in.”
