In a thoroughly modern love story, Patty Lin married the number one fan of her video game streams, David Tominaga, in a heartfelt wedding day at Twin Willows.
Guests were instantly immersed in an enchanted forest ambiance with scenes that felt as magical as the fairytales Patty lovingly used as inspiration. Patty’s bridal party donned soft, muted shades sage and slate blue, creating an aura of calm around the bride on her day that perfectly accented the lush foliage. Lavender and magenta floral in hand, Patty was a sight to behold, with ethereal tulle wings draping elegantly off of her lace-accented gown. David donned a smart green suit and patterned tie that paired well with the whimsy of the day.
The happy couple exchanged vows framed by dramatic violet drapery and cascading florals, with a cloud of bubbles floating about them as they sealed their marriage with a kiss.
Milling about the lush grounds, cocktail hour was sweetened with delicious ice cream before the reception itself unfolded with wood rings, mossy florals and ferns, transforming the tent into a veritable forest, with gilded gold details elevating the space. Guiding Patty and David’s loved ones to their tables were hand crafted “Fast Passes,” in a nod to the couple’s love of Disney. Additionally, Patty hand painted each table marker in tasteful watercolor depictions of Disney movie scenes.
Warmth and whimsy infused every moment of Patty and David’s wedding day, from the tear-filled vows and choreographed dances to the lively sing-a-longs and live painter. Giving the newlyweds a properly magical fairytale ending, Patty and David made their grand exit with a lantern send-off.
