Grace Loves Lace is coming to Seattle! New Showroom opening August 20th, 2020

Grace Loves Lace Flagship Sydney showroom.

Australian bridal brand Grace Loves Lace are set to open their doors to all brides-to-be in The Emerald City — a very first for the brides of Seattle. Coined the original bridal disruptors, Grace Loves Lace has gained a loyal following worldwide thanks to their effortless and comfortable wedding gowns, handcrafted at Grace Loves Lace’s own atelier in Queensland, Australia. Founder and Creative Director, Megan Ziems, said the launch of the new Seattle showroom was driven by overwhelming demand in the region.

“Our new Seattle showroom marks the 6th location in the US, and 11th around the world. It has always been on the cards for us to have a permanent space for brides in Seattle. It’s been a year of finding the perfect space in the city so we are thrilled to have secured the this location in the heart of Ballard! Our new Seattle showroom means we are able to offer more brides complete access to the full Grace Loves Lace experience — complimentary appointments, tailored one-on-one, award-winning service and private suites in a warm, welcoming  and relaxing space,” Ziems said.

Over the past twelve months, Grace Loves Lace has seen a 100% increase in sales, with an impressive 48% of those coming from the USA alone. COVID-19 rocked the bridal industry, but the company saw their online sales increase by 70%.

Founded in 2010, Grace Loves Lace was born from a mission to revolutionize how wedding dresses were designed and sold, with a focus on unique silhouettes, ethical manufacturing and accessible pricing.

Ziems said the new Seattle showroom on the trendy Ballard Avenue will stay true to Grace Loves Lace’s relaxed and luxurious aesthetic, including crisp linen sofas, white-washed walls and floors, rustic tables, oversized clay pots and greenery — replicating the brand’s flagship showroom located in Sydney, Australia, with a Seattle twist.

“We are renowned for our unconventional fit outs. Walking into our showroom is like walking into my home, not a commercial space. Our team has enlisted the help of US antique dealers to source vintage furniture pieces and gather unique and beautiful homewares. In many ways, it’s about creating a truly Australian vibe – delivering down-to-earth luxury and laidback living at its finest,” Ziems said.

The Seattle showroom is located at 5201 Ballard Avenue NW, Seattle WA 98107, and is scheduled to open for appointments on August 20th. Seattle marks Grace Loves Lace’s eleventh international showroom, with others spanning Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Dallas and Chicago in the US, London (UK) and Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and the Gold Coast (AUS).
