Few events manage to feel both deeply personal and editorially flawless, but Reneille Velez and Brian Teodoro’s engagement celebration was exactly that. After eight years of designing breathtaking weddings and high-end events throughout the Pacific Northwest, the Seattle-based planner and owner of Gian Events finally had her turn in the spotlight. And in true Reneille fashion, her engagement party was nothing short of a masterclass in modern romance, intentional design and elevated glamour.
The couple’s engagement party took place 75 floors above Seattle at the iconic Columbia Tower Club, a venue known for its panoramic views of the city skyline. Guests followed a chic all-black dress code, perfectly complementing the evening’s polished, couture-inspired aesthetic.
The event embraced a striking black-and-white palette, complete with lush white florals, a candlelit pathway and crisp monochrome décor. Drawing inspiration from designers such as Chanel, Rolex, Louboutin and Gucci, the event radiated elevated glamour, resulting in an evening that was equally experiential and visually stunning.
The standout feature of the night was the extravagant dessert display, centered around a multi-tiered cake wrapped in a sheer organza bow to create an ethereal focal point. Surrounding the cake was a curated selection of artisanal confections, including delicate macarons, intricately decorated cupcakes and petit fours. Guests were also treated to freshly shucked oysters and indulgent caviar bumps, a bespoke culinary touch that added a luxe edge to the evening.
Music was curated with care, blending a nostalgic 2000s R&B playlist with live violin performances that added a soulful, romantic layer to the atmosphere. Every detail was considered, even the favors. Guests left with stylishy, personalized compact mirrors, each hot-foiled with live calligraphy.
No detail was left untouched, leaving guests anticipating Reneille and Brian’s lavish wedding day, one that is sure to be filled with stylish design, intentional details and most importantly, love.
