Marlys Larson and Caroline Keith tied the knot holding hands beneath an enchanting arbor at their family ranch in Cle Elum. The couple met eight years ago on a Sapphic dating app and instantly clicked. They lived together for seven years before they became engaged. “At that point, we felt like an old married couple, and our wedding just made it official and let us share our joy and love with our family and friends,” Caroline says. The brides took inspiration from the Olympic Peninsula’s lush greenery, pairing that foliage with delicate florals, bringing a rustic and romantic feel. Rather than veils, ethereal flowers were entwined in the brides’ hair, matching their floral-patterned dresses; this created a beautiful contrast, with Caroline donning black and Marlys in white. Due to their shared introversion, they kept the event intimate, inviting only their closest friends and family. The pair chose to dispense with a typical bridal party since their guest list was so short, and instead were preceded down the aisle by their parents.
