Candice & Brandon carefully thought through each decision for their wedding with the goal to showcase the beauty of the PNW and provide their guests with a stress free and unforgettable experience. Their aim was to incorporate special elements that were unique to them as a couple, while bringing together a simple, laid back, and romantic celebration.
Utilizing their own talents, as well as those of family and friends, much of the wedding design was created within. The bride hand selected her flowers from Pike Place Market for her aunt to arrange for the decor, the old windows used for the seating chart came from the groom's father, the wedding cake and desserts were made by the bride herself, and the groom, along with his best man brewed their wedding beer!
Additional special family touches included a recording of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" arranged and performed by the bride's father, and played as they walked down the aisle. Candice carried her grandmother's wedding handkerchief in her bridal bouquet, which has been in the family for three generations. And, displayed at the reception were photographs representing three generations of marriage, including parents, grandparents, and great grandparents.
Each and every detail of this wedding held deep sentiment and meaning, and we can't help but love how much that shows through in their pictures.
