Couples immersed in all things wedding planning take note: Seattle-based florist MARIGOLD & MINT BOTANICALS (@marigoldandmintbotanicals) has a brand-new home. Opened this past fall in Pioneer Square’s mixed-use Railspur development, the much larger shop (it outgrew its former space in a nearby vestibule) offers seasonal bouquets, arrangements and workshops as well as full-service wedding and event floral design. “Our goal is to help you perfectly express your personality and aesthetic with flowers,” says owner, florist and illustrator Izzie Klingels. “To create a memorable experience, we take every detail into account, including finding the perfect vases and candles to complement your tablescape. We love to use unexpected elements like grasses, plants and trees and we are as excited by delicate, subtle touches as we are by grand, dramatic gestures.” Marigold & Mint also carries local giftable goodies and curiosities galore, including hand-blown glass vases by Seattle artist SEAN O’NEILL (@s.e.a.n.oneill), candles, vintage jewelry and soaps and lotions by HANDMADE LA CONNER (@handmadelaconner).
