Unfolding with stark black-and-white bridal party palette and stunning pops of green foliage, Helen and Tung’s wedding day radiated classic elegance, while still maintaining atop unique and fashion-forward trends. Their vision for their wedding day was rooted in the concept of a modern renaissance that blended old-world romance and contemporary artistic aesthetics.
Fashion was at the forefront of the day, with Helen dressed in a couture ballgown with delicate pearl details (and two equally stunning dresses later on). Keeping up to par with the bride, each bridesmaid, clad in a refined black dress of their choosing, was honored with a unique sculpted bouquet. Every arrangement was one-of-a-kind of the florals du jour - the array of calla lilies, orchids, amaranths and pearl details for a truly artful walk down the aisle.
The ceremony itself was brimming with dramatic romanticism, the alter space framed with candlelight, lush florals, and of course, a decadently draped archway to frame the happy couple as they exchanged “I do’s.”
Leaning into their art museum inspiration, guests were guided to their seat by a gallery wall installation featuring gilded framed photos of the couple alongside renaissance-esque art pieces. Abundant with glowing candles and bountiful bursts of blossoms, the reception scene was truly breathtaking and bold - just as the couple had intended.
Catering to their Cambodian and Vietnamese heritage, Helen and Tung treated their loved ones to a bespoke 10+ course menu for an “extraordinary dining experience that fused tradition [and] storytelling.” All in all, each element of the wedding day was intentionally crafted for not only the couple’s vision but their interests and personality, making for an event that was truly their own.
