Fresh, unapologetically dynamic and boldly stylish, Tamara Anderson, owner of Simply by Tamara Nicole, masterfully utilized a spectrum of hues to create a bright, colorblocked design that’s a feast for the senses. “I was so excited to showcase all kinds of color but in a strategic and beautiful way,” Anderson says.

Set against the classic elegance of The Golf Club at Newcastle, the vibrant scheme made a striking statement within the neutral space, harmonizing with sweeping views of the pristine grounds and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. The team collaborated with Florals by Maria to decorate the venue with luxurious blooms in a joyful palette ranging from shades of purples and pinks to oranges and yellows. The rainbow of colors remained expertly polished and exuded opulence.

Casting an ombré pattern, the modern square ceremony arch featured playful blossoms gracefully climbing up each side. To demonstrate how reception tables can showcase varied styles while remaining cohesive, the creative team chose to highlight three unique tablescapes with varying personalities. “Each of the three tables had different linens, napkins, place settings, table numbers and more, showcasing that you don’t need all of your tables to be the same at a wedding,” Anderson explains.

Leaning into the cheerful theme, the sleek bar was garnished with bundles of roses in vivid pigments and thriving greenery. Overhead, chandeliers offered a soft glow, casting a spotlight onto the enchanting scene of splendor. A grand four-tiered cake demanded attention, acting as a punchy focal point adorned with lavender, mauve and yellow flowers while zesty florals crawled up the stem of the tulip-style tableau. From ceremony to Champagne tower, this concept proves that a wedding can embrace maximalist flair while staying true to a clean minimalist-chic aesthetic.
