The vision for Alyssa Goldberg and Cody Plaiss' wedding at Seattle's Admiral's House began with a pair of Aquazurra heels. Alyssa, an interior designer, and a talented team of vendors brought her chic pink and red color palette to life. "I always knew I would plan and design my own wedding,” says Alyssa. "After nearly two years of planning and working with the most incredible vendors, our wedding was even more magical than I could have ever dreamed." Alyssa included special touches that held personal meaning, such as her lighting plan for the tent, which incorporated pink and red florals into each pendant. "By nighttime, the pendants appeared like fireflies, sparkling over the dance floor and reminiscent of a southern Indiana summer, in honor of Cody's home." Unique details abounded, such as the vows, which were officiated by Alyssa's close friend and father figure Stephen Goldfarb; signature cocktails named after their favorite songs; a ping pong table in honor of Alyssa's mom (who passed away from Alzheimer's in 2019); personalized hand-painted tiles; and more. "It all reflected and embodied the story of our love," says Alyssa.
