For our groom, who is Australian, and our stunning bride, a Seattle native, their love story started in London. With the couple having friends from all over the world, it was only fitting to host a weekend wedding in the woods to showcase what the beautiful state of Washington has to offer. The duo incorporated a touch of Australia with eucalyptus table runners and subtle koala decorations, and a bit of London with a British pub roast to write home about.
Envisioning a U.K. festival vibe for the celebration, our bride dazzled in custom-made feathered wings throughout the reception, and the couple treated guests to a photo booth in a vintage VW van for an additional boho touch. The ceremony backdrop was a jaw-dropping centerpiece as well as a DIY project that brought friends and family together. It consisted of steel pipe, 400 blades of pampas grass sourced from friends and neighbors’ yards around Seattle, and the muscle power of all of the groomsmen on the big day.
