Twenty-six years after marrying, Fahren and Ernest proved that their love knows no bounds. The two were originally wed when they were 19 years old. And while that wedding all those years ago marked the beginning of a love that will last a lifetime, the couple had always wanted to have the celebration of their dreams. With their children and grandchildren looking on, Fahren and Earnest said “I do” once again, this time at the Lairmont Manor in Bellingham. The couple chose Lairmont because of its resemblance to the brick buildings on the University of Washington campus, where they first met. Working with Oh Miss Chic, Fahren and Ernest planned a beautiful early-spring affair. Fahren made up for those first understated nuptials by wearing four stunning gowns throughout this affair. She wore two white dresses, one featuring a sheer floral bodice, and the other with a deep V-neck. Her black ensembles stole the show. In a Dawson & Deveraux ostrich-feathered gown, Fahren looked straight off the red carpet, and was off-the-charts chic in a long-sleeved sheer tulle number. Ernest was equally stylish in a light burgundy suit and black bow tie from The Black Tux. Honey Crumb Cake Studio created the centerpiece confection, which featured stunning flowers and a vintage, aged finish in ivory with pink and purple accents. Crave Catering created a menu featuring a mixed green salad with citrus vinaigrette, and lamb tagine with butternut squash and Israeli couscous.
