The perfect setting for creating a European-inspired garden wedding through a very Pacific Northwest lens? Bella Luna Farms in Snohomish, where Ninna Jacobsen of Toasting You Marketing & Events and a team of talented professionals dreamed up this design, which embraced the 12-acre venue’s weathered charm with a palette of rich burgundy, soft neutrals and layered greenery. Ivy-covered walls and aged wood created the feeling of a tucked-away countryside estate, while contemporary details kept the overall aesthetic fresh and fashion-forward.

The design centered on texture at every turn. Velvet linens paired with scalloped tableware brought dimension to the tablescape, softened by lush floral arrangements. Hydrangeas established full, cloudlike bases on asymmetrical stands framing the altar, while dahlias, zinnias, ranunculus and garden roses added movement and depth. Delicate sprigs of dara introduced an airy, meadow-inspired finish that echoed the surrounding landscape. Greenery enveloped the backdrop, from rustling reeds to towering pines.

Fashion and styling, understated as they were, played an equally important role in shaping the mood. A fairytale A-line gown, with a corseted waist and a beaded veil, complemented the romantic atmosphere without coming on too strong or feeling overly bold. As natural light filtered through the trees and greenhouse windows onto the reception set, every detail exuded luminosity. Café lights, along with the lattice-like ceiling woven with vines, perfected the lighting scheme. The ethereal table runner was topped with low goblet vases, mossy taper candles and organic arrangements. In the corner of the whimsical cottage design sat a three-tier cake with hand-painted floral detailing in various hues of orange and green.
