PERFECT PAIR: Fifteen years ago, Craig Labenz, owner of Craig Labenz Design, was introduced to Andrew Burich, a veterinarian, at a birthday celebration of a mutual friend, prompting a lasting love.
THE DESIGN: The pair took inspiration from their venue’s waterfront, combining seaside elements with classic details such as vintage silver plate vases and serving trays, hand-painted signage (which included a ferry motif that was used on everything from the couple’s invitations to wedding-day details) and Washington McIntosh apple favors.
ALL IN THE FAMILY: Crafting the decor was a true family affair: Craig’s mother, Carol, and sister, Tammy, sewed table runners and matching keepsake napkins for the reception.
DAPPER DUDS: The couple’s dog, Cooper, got a custom Harding & Wilson Pendleton plaid bow tie from Portland for his trot down the aisle, matched to the grooms’ wedding-day ties (also from Harding & Wilson). Meanwhile, the grooms each wore a signature scent, created for them by Portland’s OLO Fragrance.
