It's time to take your wedding design under the sea. Elite Events created a larger-than-life design in an intimate setting with a palette of rich aquamarines and enticing textures. Every aspect of the event was handpicked to evoke oceanic sensibilities. Oak and Fig Floral drew inspiration from the texture of the seafloor, incorporating coral and driftwood into the centerpieces. White flocked branches and blue-painted ferns and palm fronds were cut to resemble coral, adding unexpected texture to the aquatic tablescape and looking as though they were floating beneath the waves. Oyster shells were reimagined as place cards with hand-calligraphed names intricately inscribed. Pearl charger plates shimmered alongside the shells that were once their homes. Gold accents along the tabletop were reminiscent of sunken treasure; gilded rimmed chalices, Chiavari chairs and flatware tied together with cream velvet napkins. BBJ Linen provided the perfect backdrop to the vignette with its lagoon table linen.
“Being able to transform a normal dinner table into a beautiful mermaid-worthy fête is all part of the special magic of event design,” says Hannah Mitchell of Elite Events.
