It's not often that we have a winter wedding submitted to us, especially winter weddings as vibrant as this one. This couple managed to weave a palette of happy colors throughout their day without making it feel too summery. They also mastered the challenge of making a large, elaborate venue feel strikingly intimate by using loads of candles and golden accents. Amber bridesmaid dresses are also not something we see everyday, but we love how they complement those beautiful winter blooms and that bride looks positively glowing in her dress, reminding us that a traditional ball gown never goes out of style.

"Nick and I met through friends ten years ago. We were friends for the longest time and then a few years ago Nick reached out to me when I moved back into town and we started dating. Quickly it became serious and we were engaged ten months later! He asked me to marry him on a five day vacation in San Francisco, California. One of the destinations at the end of the trip was a wine tour to Napa Valley where went to a number of wineries. The last one was up the mountain in a gondola to the top of Sterling Vineyards. It was a beautiful day and the view was amazing. On the way back down the gondola, Nick got down on one knee and as I turned around he had the ring out and asked me to marry him.
My advice for future brides? Even though you might have all the details laid out there are always last minute things that get missed or might happen along the way. Don’t get discouraged or stressed because in the end it is the best moment of your life and it always turns out amazing. My favorite motto during wedding planning was “It is what it is”. You have to go with the flow, have fun and stay positive!"
