Inspired by the theme "Unlocking Endless Possibilities," Washington Wedding Day's Best of 2026 celebration transformed The SOMM Hotel & Spa into a captivating speakeasy where hidden entrances, glamorous entertainment and elevated design created an unforgettable evening. Planned by Bixby + Pine, the event welcomed Washington's wedding industry professionals into an immersive celebration filled with rich textures, dramatic florals and vintage-inspired elegance, all in honor of the region's top wedding talent.
Guests arrived in style thanks to Butler Transportation before stepping into an atmosphere shaped by luxurious rentals from CORT Party Rental, sweeping drapery by Bradbury Events and dramatic lighting and audiovisual design from Crimson Haze. A glowing marquee installation from Seattle Marquee Lighting, surrounded by a striking balloon display from Confete Balloons, welcomed attendees into the experience, while custom stationery and printed details by Mango Ink carried the evening's speakeasy aesthetic throughout the venue. Lush floral installations by Parcells Flower Co. and Emerald City Flowers, created with premium blooms from Mayesh, transformed every corner of the cocktail hour into an intimate garden of rich color and texture.
Throughout cocktail hour, guests explored interactive experiences around the venue, enjoying watercolor portraits by Bowtie & Brush, adding a touch of shimmer at the sparkle bar by Michelle Wight Artistry and stopping by the Martini Girl experience from Maison de V Entertainment, which perfectly complemented the evening's vintage-inspired theme. Guests also sampled elevated bites throughout the evening, including memorable caviar-topped pretzel cigars, adding another theatrical touch to the speakeasy-inspired celebration.
As guests entered the awards ceremony, dramatic stage florals by Fena Flowers framed the celebration while Music by J. Fields served as master of ceremonies, guiding attendees through the evening's honors with energy and style. Films By Us opened the awards presentation with a dynamic highlight film celebrating Washington's wedding community, while Jordan Kahn Music Company elevated the ceremony with live musical performances. Washington Wedding Day's team looked celebration-ready thanks to I.M. Artistry, whose hair and makeup artistry completed the glamorous aesthetic.
Throughout the evening, Sarah Anne Thompson documented every memorable moment through photography while Steelhead Cinema captured the celebration on film. EV Content preserved the excitement behind the scenes with real-time content creation, ensuring every detail of the evening lived on well beyond the event itself.
