This is the week, all the planning and preparation for your dream wedding is coming to an end and the big day is upon you. While it seems like there is a lot to do, it's important to plan ahead and set aside time to enjoy so you can create unforgettable memories. Here are some insider tips for what you should plan in the week leading up to your celebration:
Pamper yourself
Book an appointment to hit the spa, like Penelope & the Beauty Bar, for a facial to cleanse your pores, manicure and pedicure, and some time to relax in the spa’s Jade Pod. Just don’t select any services that might irritate your skin. There’s no better time than the week of your wedding to slow down and prepare yourself for the busy days ahead.
Press the dress
Check simple but important items off your list, such as preparing your wedding garb. Have your dress steamed at your retailer such as Luly Yang, or get your suit pressed and shoes shined early in the week. With these items complete, you can prepare for the rest of the week with ease.

Shopping spree
Hit the stores to pick up a special wedding day gift for your sweetheart. Nordstrom can personalize silk robes and other apparel items. Or stop by your neighborhood craft distillery and pick up your significant other’s favorite liquor. A thoughtful piece of fine jewelry is a great way to show how special they are to you and will be another piece you can wear in the future to remember how magical this time was.
Pack your bags
As soon as the wedding wraps up, you may be off on the trip of a lifetime. Spend the week leading up to your nuptials preparing for your getaway so you don’t feel rushed the night before your wedding.
One last date night
Plan an evening for two on the last week leading up to the wedding. Often wedding weekends are filled with family and friends visiting from near and far, so put aside some time to connect with your partner and talk about the exciting weekend to come.
With the big day just around the corner, take the final week to relax, recharge and check a few simple things off your list. You won't regret it.
