Bathed in the beauty of the Cascades, Elisabeth Smith, 34, and Stephen Gose, 35, exchanged their vows in a whimsical outdoor ceremony at Leavenworth’s Sleeping Lady Resort at the peak of nature’s abundance. The wedding’s floral and fruit arrangements showcased warm, end-of-summer jewel tones. Elisabeth and Stephen’s most memorable moment took place at the festivities’ conclusion. “The DJ played the last song announcing the end of the reception,” says Elisabeth. “Out of nowhere, someone started warbling Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance with Somebody.’ Other people started singing, and picking up steam, they got through the first verse. The DJ gave in and played the song, and everyone danced their hearts out. We will never forget that moment.”
