Allison and Laurence celebrated their late-September wedding at the historic Columbia Collective in Woodinville with close friends and family. A timeless black-and-white palette carried through from the ceremony to the reception, including white florals and warm candlelight. The ceremony was held in the venue’s Barrel Room, a dramatic space with stacks of wine barrels lining the walls. Elegant white draping and bold, floral arrangements atop textured white pedestals formed the altar.
After the pair exchanged vows, guests mingled over signature cocktails, served with napkins featuring illustrations of their Australian shepherds, River and Dakota. (When Laurence proposed one evening, their pups had fetched Allison’s engagement ring and brought it to her.) Inside the ballroom, black velvet-covered tables lined with single-stem white roses and candles were artfully arranged in front of a black-and-white checkered dance floor—a disco ball overhead hinted at the revelry to come. The cake, a simple, three-tiered confection, was placed before the fireplace, where photos of married loved ones, past and present, were displayed upon the mantle.
