When it comes to wedding inspiration the sky's the limit. So many brides choose themes based on a particular era, hobby, location or movie. In this case, these wedding vendors tapped right into our nostalgic young adult days in the classiest of ways - with a Gossip Girl themed inspiration shoot. Everything we loved about the fictional lives of the Upper East Side adolescents has been reimagined in a sophisticated spin fit for the most elegant "I dos". In short, we're basically feeling the same about this shoot as we once felt about the series - obsessed. XOXO

“If faced with admitting my biggest guilty pleasure, it would most certainly be Gossip Girl. Though the series has long been over, I’m still a sucker for anything set on the Upper East Side with an affinity for Bergdorfs, penthouses and Blake Lively. So when I was asked by Kerry Jeanne Photography to style a Gossip Girl inspired wedding shoot, I didn’t have to think twice! From there I was set with the mission of finding our very own Chuck & Blair and recreating this glamorous world they call Manhattan. I partnered with The Dress Theory to find a gorgeous, studded Jenny Packham gown that has similar lines to the powder blue gown Blair was married in for the final episode. And of course we had to have a bouquet filled with Blair’s favorite, pink peonies. We added in subtle nods to the character's favorite things, such as Blair’s iconic love of Paris with french macaroons & Chuck’s ever faithful glass of Scotch.
We knew the elegant setting of Seattle’s Rainier Club would evoke the old world grandeur of an elite, private club you’d find in Manhattan, with their grand chandeliers & stunning paneled walls. Overall, the goal was to bring the show back to life, even if just for a short time, so the faithful GG lovers could once again, revel in the beauty this show created.”
