As the Director of Catering, Tanya Kertland currently leads the Catering Sales Team at The Golf Club at Newcastle. With over 15 years of experience in events, wherein she has had the opportunity to plan events for various types of industries, Tanya brings a wide breadth of knowledge to the catering team. The satisfaction of watching an event cycle from conception to fruition, keeps Tanya motivated to bring current industry trends, fresh ideas, and a flare for creativity to every event she plans.

Originally born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Tanya has spent a number of years living and working all over the United States due to her husband’s Aerospace career. However, after being granted their Permanent Resident status, Tanya and her family decided to make the Greater Seattle Area their permanent home and put down their roots right here in Newcastle.

New to golf, Tanya started playing at The Golf Club at Newcastle in August of 2022. Her favorite hole is #11 on the China Creek course, where she got her very first hole-in-one! Professionally, Tanya loves to help her clients make every detail picture perfect, but outside of work she enjoys cooking, singing, and spending time with her husband, teenage daughter, and the family dog.
