Promising to always pursue each other's hearts in their home
state of Washington, Kelsey and Grant chose The Fair as a memorable
place to gather with family and friends for their wedding.
It's not often the groom contacts the photographer before
the bride, but Grant had planned a surprise proposal for Kelsey (who happened
to love the work of Something Minted Photography from her marketing
days at The Fair!) Following the proposal, the couple followed their careers to
Phoenix, with plans to return home to Washington for the wedding of their
dreams.
A palette of pearl, rose gold and soft gray complemented the
delicate details, including the bride's cathedral veil, which was passed
down from her mother's wedding day, and the morganite engagement ring that was
thoughtfully designed by the groom. The wild array of sunshine,
overcast and sideways rain brought with it all the familiarities of home, and
lent to the lasting memories of Kelsey and Grant's perfect day!
