Abundant Blush: Sophisticated Wedding at the Bellevue Club

Real Wedding

Ricky and Victoria's relationship started as young love (when the groom photographed the bride's high school senior portraits!), and ultimately led to the sophisticated soirée we're sharing below. With years of shared history, they opted for an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends. The blush-hued details of the day are incredibly romantic and we're loving how the bride and groom included their dapper furry family member throughout the festivities. The result was a classic celebration with pops of personal details.

From the bride:

"Initially Ricky and I met through mutual friends. Secretly, because I loved photography so much, I stalked Ricky's photography work on his Myspace (embarrassing). The summer before senior year of high school began, I needed senior portraits done and my friend arranged it to be done by him, I was very excited inside but didn't think anything would come out of it other than getting my photos done by someone who inspired me. Little did we both know we would fall in love with one another.

Ricky proposed to me on our 6th year anniversary. We're very competitive with one another and enjoy outdoing each other on gifts. I surprised him with a trip to Las Vegas since he's never been, however, he beat me by bringing me to the Olympic Sculpture Park and proposing on one knee. I will never forget that day."

THE WEDDING DAY

From the groom:

"The entire day of the wedding was memorable and I wish I could relive the entire day again. I hadn't spent this much time with family and friends in so long and to have them all in one place to witness our marriage is something we'll always cherish. One moment that I will never forget was the moment I saw my bride walk down the isle. Every time I think about her face as she walks down the isle, I feels as if I'm back at the alter. Excited to start the next chapter in life, feeling like the luckiest man in the world, and ready to call the love of my life my wife."

From the bride:

"I wish I could relive my wedding day again because to me it was perfect. All of the planning and minor stresses leading up to the big day was well worth it. One moment I will never forget was walking down the aisle and seeing Ricky's face. I never liked the the public eye on me and of course I was caught up with making sure I wouldn't trip but right as I lifted my head and locked eyes with Ricky it was a very emotional moment for me. That feeling inside of me I couldn't quite explain, but it was the feeling of pure love and I could never forget that. I enjoyed the moments of saying our vows and the moment when we walked down the aisle and we had a tiny moment to ourselves of how excited we were to be married. It was a joy having a smaller wedding with just our close family and friends something I really thought was important. Last but not least, Channy our wedding planner and the rest of our vendors sure did make our experience so much smoother, we couldn't thank them enough!"
