Cade Beyer worked as a bartender at the local cocktail bar three blocks down from Sarah Register’s apartment. She was a regular in the summer of 2020, but it wasn't until her parents visited that her dad pointed out that Cade might have a crush on her. Later that evening, Cade asked Sarah out on a date and “we’ve been together ever since, traveling to many different countries, hiking with our two dogs and growing together,” says the bride. The theme of their wedding was reminiscent of an Italian summer, with a beautiful pastel palette that included pinks, oranges and yellows. The European ambiance was bolstered by the stunning architecture and greenery of The Corson Building. Since Sarah is Australian and Cade is American —  and they have family all around the globe — they decided to celebrate their union with a small event with only their closest family and friends in attendance. The ceremony itself was intimate and magical. Sarah walked down the aisle in a gorgeous gown made from fabrics sourced from many different countries, including Colombia and Italy. The couple met at the altar before a large, luscious fig tree, aptly symbolizing fruitfulness and prosperity on their big day. Sarah and Cade wanted to involve their guests in their union, so they concluded the ceremony by signing their marriage certificate and having guests repeat a shared vow to support them as a couple. Dinner, held underneath hanging foliage and string lights, featured bright blooms and sliced lemons, in keeping with the sophisticated Italian motif.
