THE ENGAGEMENT: Ally and Gareth had a very short and sweet
engagement, nine weeks and five days to be exact. Gareth, being from Sweden was only
allowed a three month stay in the states, so planning was hectic at times. Not to mention, the addtional obstical of living in Arizona while planning a Washington wedding.
THE LOCATION: For many family and friends, it was their first visit to the USA, so Ally and Gareth wanted to show them the best. Washington was an easy choice, as it was the birthplace of the bride and home
to many friends, family and memories.
THE WEDDING: The couple had guests from Scotland, Sweden, England, and
Australia, attending their wedding. Their parents hadn't even had the opportunity to meet each other until just a few days before the ceremony. The bride recalls, "I think what was most touching to me was having family and friends travel so far to support us. It was very emotional for us to see everyone we
love in the same place and know it was all for us."
From the Bride: "Our wedding day was without a doubt the best day of my life. I'm sure all brides say that but for me it truly was. It was filled with all of our favorite things, family, friends, brunch, and lots of coffee!"
