Kyleigh Crabtree & Jessica Klein

Married and celebrated: Wayfarer Farm on Whidbey Island

Date: July 16, 2016

THE COUPLE: Ten months after meeting while attending grad school in Colorado, child and family therapist Kyleigh Crabtree and Jessica Klein, an emergency medicine residency coordinator for Harborview Medical Center, knew they had found their match. Thus, they each proposed to the other, Kyleigh first by candlelight in their apartment, with Jessica following up with her own ring for Kyleigh a few weeks later.

FARM TO TABLE: The Sammamish-based pair set out to celebrate with an intimate familial gathering. They did so at the darling Wayfarer Farm on Whidbey Island, where the many kids in attendance gawked at the resident alpacas and played lawn games after the brides were married by a pair of friends from their days in Denver. Guests then dined family style on charcutiere, Penn Cove mussels and fresh salmon while seated at long, greenery-festooned reception tables set up under chandeliers that hung from a canopy of trees. For dessert, everyone dined on marionberry cobbler and then found just a little bit more room for a s’more or two.
